"Dharam Ghaudha was nabbed from a hotel and a case was registered against him for conspiring to sell scrap of the mill and giving false information to the local authorities," said Sudhanshu Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Darbhanga Zone.
Necessary action against Ghaudha will follow in due course of time, the officer said.
On November 10, Sushil Sah (24) was killed and two others were injured in police firing outside the mill after some ex-employees and their family members stopped a truck taking out scrap from the premises of mill.
Meanwhile, the Leader of Opposition in the assembly Abdul Bari Siddique today met the grieving family of Sah and demanded a judicial probe in the incident.
He also demanded a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the victim's family and a government job to a member of the affected family.
Siddique said that the opposition parties will chart out their future course of action at a meeting in Darbhanga on November 15 next if his demands were not met.
