Persons employed in those establishments were now entitled to avail the benefits of the payment of Wages Act, 1936, particularly in cases of unpaid/less-paid employees, an official release said here today.
These are Establishment of Co-operative Societies, hotel and restaurants, cinema houses, dhabas, establishment of local authorities, nursing homes, spa saloons/beauty parlours, and pathological laboratories and diagnostic research centres.
Tourist resorts, shopping malls, bakeries, automobile workshops and show rooms, establishment of NGOs, bonded warehouses, event management establishments, merchandise establishments, coaching centres/Institutes, petrol pump dealers, LPG Agencies, courier service agencies, contractor's establishments, Electronic and Print Media and Handicraft and Textile establishments have also been included, the release added.
