The Governor summoned the House in exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (1) of Article 174 of the Constitution, said a government release today.
The June 1 Assembly would be the first session of the BJP-AGP-BPF government headed by Sarbananda Sonowal formed on May 24 after a landslide victory with the alliance wresting power from the Congress winning 86 of the 126 Assembly seats.
