As the activists of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha clashed with police in front of the state assembly during their protest over law and order situation, BJP Legislative party leader Satish Mahana raised the matter in the House asking the government to "strongly punish the officials who targeted peaceful protesters in a barbaric manner."
When Mahana raised the matter in the Zero Hour, party members barged into the well shouting anti-government slogans, leading to the adjournment of the house first for ten minutes and later till 2 PM.
Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey, however, rushed through the agenda amid pandemonium including tabling and passage of budget of different departments and adjourned the house for the day.
