AstraZeneca Pharma shares end 14% higher post earnings

Shares of AstraZeneca Pharma India today soared 14 per cent after the company reported a net profit of Rs 38.12 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015.
The stock zoomed 13.62 per cent to close at Rs 974.90 on the BSE. During the day, it jumped 18.39 per cent to Rs 1,015.85.
On the NSE, it settled with a gain of 14 per cent at Rs 975.70.
The company had posted a net loss of Rs 2.56 lakh during the same period of the previous fiscal.
Net sales stood at Rs 120.80 crore during the quarter, while the same were at Rs 114.14 crore during the same period in the previous fiscal, AstraZeneca Pharma said in a filing to the BSE.

For the year ended March 31, the company posted a net loss of Rs 20.83 crore, while it had reported a net loss of Rs 50.89 lakh during the previous year.
