At least 19 dead, 37 injured in I.Coast bus accident

At least 19 people were killed and 37 hurt when a crowded minibus and another passsenger vehicle collided in the Ivory Coast port town of San Pedro, police said today.
Police chief Seydou Ouattara told AFP the accident was caused by "a technical problem in the vehicles" and that 19 people had been killed.
Poor maintenance is often behind the many fatalities on West Africa's roads.
