An Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) team of the Jaipur Police had been camping in Bhatkal near here for the last two days as part of investigation regarding two suspected Indian Mujahideen (IM) members from the town, police said.
The team visited the town police station and collected information from the brothers of the suspects regarding their alleged links in connection with several bomb blasts across the country, police said.
Police said the names of the two suspects were mentioned by ten other suspects who were arrested for terrorist activities at Jaipur in April this year.
Bhatkal Deputy Superintendent of Police Mutturaj, who confirmed the visit of the squad, said the state police was co-operating with their investigation.
