According to police, the accused have been identified as Satender Singh alias Bhinda and Sumit Singh alias Monu, both residents of Najafgarh area of north-west Delhi.
"The accused were yesterday arrested from Chhawala Drain road here following a tip-off. Two robbed cars, a pistol, five live rounds and a country-made pistol have been receovered from them," said a senior police official.
Satender and Sumit used to commit robberies to earn quick money and impress their girlfriends, whom they would take on long drives in the robbed vehicles, police said, adding that the accused have been booked under relevant sections of IPC.
In 2014, he had a Rs 50,000 reward on his head after allegedely firing on a Najafgarh resident in a road-rage incident.
