Kanwarpal and Parmod from Jind district in Haryana were arrested on Sunday and six cases of motor vehicle theft have been solved.
Acting on a specific information, police stopped a vehicle near Sainik Farms and during enquiry the driver was identified as Kanwarpal.
Kanwarpal was asked to produce the documents of the vehicle which he could not produce but tried to mislead the police party, they said.
The number plate was found to be fake.
On sustained interrogation, the accused disclosed that he along with his associates were involved in several cases of auto lifting in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
"He further disclosed the name of his associate Pramod who was later arrested," a senior police official said.
