Auto rickshaw owner shot dead

One person was shot dead today by unknown miscreants in the Bakshipally area of Bongaon in North 24 Parganas, the police said.
Bindu Bakshi (45), an auto rickshaw owner, was shot by unknown miscreants from close range and he died on the spot, said a senior officer of the Bongaon Police Station.
A search is on to trace the culprits, he added.
