B P Sharma takes over as Pawan Hans chief

State-run helicopter manufacturer Pawan Hans today said B P Sharma has taken over as its chairman and managing director.
Prior to this, he worked as APD and executive director for projects at the Airports Authority of India, Kolkata.
Sharma is a graduate engineer with MBA and PhD in business administration with a specialisation in change management in civil aviation.
He has 28 years of multi-faceted experience in the field of civil aviation management, planning and developing engineering proposals for airport facilities like the runways, taxiways, aprons, terminal building, airport ground lighting systems, airport operations/ management, and contract & project management, among others.
