B-town female actors, singers applaud Shoojit Sircar's 'Pink'

Bollywood actresses and female playback singers including Yami Gautam, Dia Mirza and Neha Dhupia, Sunidhi Chauhan and Shalmali Kholgade have praised Shoojit Sircar's "Pink" after its special screening held here.
The film, which is about three women, who possibly get sexually assaulted, features megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Kirti Kulhari.
Applauding work of its entire cast, Sunidhi tweeted, "A special mention to #director #AniruddhaRoy @taapsee @KirtiKulhari and the entire team of #Pink Y'all BLEW ME AWAY! Still recovering... #Pink A must watch."
"Balam Pichkari" hitmaker Shalmali feels that Hindi film industry should make more stories like "Pink".
"Just watched #PINK ! Stellar performances and direction! Hats off to the entire team. People, watch this one!!We need films like this!," she tweeted.
While actress Yami wrote, "A MUST WATCH... #PINK... Thank u @ShoojitSircar @SrBachchan #speechless."
Neha called "Pink" magical which left the 36-year-old actress speechless.
"Very rarely do you come across a film that touches every nerve, hurts your gut and leaves you speechless. #pink you are magical. Congrats @ShoojitSircar."
Dia posted, "Celebrating the fantastic team of #Pink! A socially relevant, entertaining and necessary film of our time.#MustWatch."
"Jannat" actress Sonal Chauhan lauded the cast of the social thriller, which will hit theatres September 16, saying everyone in the film was flawless.
"Still can't get #PINK out of my mind. Each of u was flawless. Thank u 4 this film @ShoojitSircar . @tapseepannu @Imangadbedi @KirtiKulhari."
Reality TV personality and actress Gauhar Khan also took to the micro-blogging site to praise Bachchan.
"@SrBachchan sir, I'm honoured to have witnessed your magic in #pink... And blessed to be a part of an industry where you rule... Thank you."
In another post, she wrote, "@SrBachchan thank you, not just for inviting us to witness #pink but also for giving me the luck of getting lost in your powerful performance."
While Surveen Chawla thanked Shoojit for introducing such concept to the people.
"Surveen Thank you for saying what many hearts have been wanting to for the longest time... Brave! And so relevant! #Pink @ShoojitSircar. Can't get #pink out of my mind... Thank u once again @ShoojitSircar," she wrote.
