Activists of Shiv Sena today observed 23rd anniversary of Babri mosque demolition as 'Shourya Divas' by holding a function at a local temple here.
Led by its state vice-president Inderjit Karwal, the activists paid tributes to those 'karsevaks' (volunteers) who had "laid down" their lives during demolition of the mosque on December 6, 1992.
The activists also appealed to the Narednra Modi government to get Ram temple built in Ayodhya.
Modi government enjoyed full majority in Lok Sabha and should go ahead with the construction of 'Ram temple' as it was an issue of faith and emotions for Hindus, they said.
They also appealed to all the Hindu bodies to sink their differences and make a common cause for getting Ram temple built at Ayodhya "at any cost and any sacrifice".
