Bajaj Allianz Life launches 'Group Sampoorna Suraksha Kavach'

Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance today launched 'Group Sampoorna Suraksha Kavach', a traditional Micro Group Insurance Term Plan.
Group Sampoorna Suraksha Kavach covers various types of micro loans given by Micro Financial Institutions (MFI), small finance banks and financial institutions to their customers, along with providing life insurance cover, the company said in a release issued here.
"This plan provides group members with a life insurance cover, and at the same time covers their outstanding loan amount to a financial institution, so that the Group as well as their families' financial interests are looked after in case of any unfortunate event.
"Our new product will surely be a game changer in the way loans are currently offered in the micro finance segment against risks covered," Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Managing Director and CEO Tarun Chugh said.

Online home interiors and renovation platform, Livspace, today announced that it will invest Rs 70 crore in its global designer partnership initiative.
The company plans to invest across different segments, including onboarding and certifying freelance designers and studios, engagement programs, infrastructure and expansion across top metros to grow its network, it said in a statement.
Within a year of its launch, the platform claims it has 10,000 applications from design partners across the country, and the latest investment is aimed at bolstering the it as well as organising the home design industry in India.

Online learning platform Toppr has established a partnership with non-profit organisation Teach For India to build a movement of leaders in the education sector through their two-year fellowship programme.
The two-year full-time programme where graduates and working professionals commit to providing education to low income and under-resourced schools.
