"We call upon all like-minded parties to join hands in fight against anti-people policies and undemocratic actions of the SAD-BJP government," Bajwa said.
The PCC chief was here to pay tributes to Youth Congress leader Sukhraj Singh Bhagupur who was killed in pre-poll violence.
Bajwa announced a grant of Rs 11 lakh from the PPCC to the family of Bhagupur beside Rs 5 lakh announced by local Congress leaders and Rs 5 lakh by Youth Congress' state unit chief Vikram Singh Chaudhary.
"Bhagupur, who was Congress candidate for block samiti polls, was killed by Shiromani Akali Dal goons," he alleged and claimed that pre-poll violence had claimed six lives and hundreds of Congress workers were injured and booked in "false cases" by the police.
"Attacks on Congress workers were pre-planned conspiracy of the SAD-BJP government," he added.
