Balloon seller dies in gas cylinder explosion, 6 children injured

A 55-year-old balloon seller died and eight people, including six children were injured, when a gas cylinder, used to inflate balloons, exploded at Ghanupur Kala village near here today, the police said.
The incident occurred at a religious congregation near Chehertha locality, the SHO of Chehertha Police Station, Harish Behl, said.
The injured children are aged between 10 to 12, he said.
The reason behind the explosion is yet to be ascertained, the police said, adding the damaged cylinder has been sent for forensic examination.
