Bank of Maharashtra renews tie-up with United India Insurance

State-run Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) today said it has renewed its corporate agency tie-up with United India Insurance Company (UIIC).
Customers can buy the entire gamut of UIIC products at any of the 1,896 branches of the bank across the country, the lender said in a release here.
They can buy insurance products related to motor, fire, health, marine, overseas travel policy and personal accident from the bank's branches.

Accenture to help AU Financiers offer digital banking * Accenture today said it will provide Au Financiers, one of the 10 in-principle licensees of small finance banks, assistance in setting up the bank.

The leading global professional services company will customise, integrate and support Au Financiers' new core banking platform and enterprise resource planning software (ERP), a company release said.

The core banking platform, with online and mobile banking digital capabilities, will enable Au Financiers customers to operate their accounts from anywhere in the country.
Accenture will also implement an analytics-rich customer resource management(CRM) solution to help Au Financiers manage customer records and relationships.

Karthik Rajeshwaran named Director of Strategy at Freecharge * Snapdeal-owned digital payments platform Freecharge has appointed Karthik Rajeshwaran as its Director of Strategy.
In his new role, Rajeshwaran will deploy his expertise to usher-in consumer-centric innovations to expand revenue across new business opportunities, the company said.

Rajeshwaran formerly handled global marketing and growth at Obi Worldphone, where he was responsible for launching smartphones and crafting brand communication plans across Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and select West Asia countries. He began his career at FMCG giant Hindustan Unilever.
