According to Pydhonie police, a drug peddler Salim Mohammed Khan (23) was caught with 250 grams of amphetamine worth Rs 20 lakh at Masjid bunder area in south Mumbai.
Khan was booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, senior inspector at the police station, Sunil Kavlekar said.
In another case, a trap was laid near Islam Gymkhana in south Mumbai yesterday when two suspected drug peddlers were found moving in the area.
A case has been registered against the duo at Marine Drive police station under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act, police said.
