"In view of the police action on our president, lawyers and the common public who were protesting today to get AIIMS for Jammu, we have decided to extend our strike from August 3 to August 8," a BAJ spokesman said.
He said that work in the Jammu and Kashmir High Court and all other subordinate courts in Jammu would suspend the work for six days beginning from Monday.
The BAJ has earlier suspended the work in the Jammu and Kashmir High Court, Jammu, from July 24 to July 30 protesting over the issue.
