Bar attendant roughed up for objecting to smoking, 3 held

An attendant at a bar here was beaten up by three persons when he objected to their smoking, a scene captured on CCTV camera, police today said.
The three persons have been arrested under IPC section 307 (attempt to murder).
The incident took place last night when the attendant had objected to the three persons smoking at the bar as it was air-conditioned.
Irked over this, they entered into a brawl with him during which he was injured, police said.
On receiving the complaint from the victim and the bar staff, the three persons were arrested.
The injured bar attendant is undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
