Barley prices rose by Rs 10 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale grains market today on scattered demand from consuming industries.
However, other grains, including wheat and rice basmati, settled steady after moving in a range-bound trading.
Traders said mild demand from consuming industries against restricted supplies from producing regions mainly led to the rise in barley prices.
