Barring a rise in barley prices on increased offtake by consuming industries, other grains remained steady at the wholesale grains market today in thin trade.
Traders said increased offtake by consuming industries amid restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly led to the rise in barley prices.
In the national capital, barley moved up by Rs 10 to Rs 1,600-1,610 per quintal.
