Nickel climbed by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,230 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 1,220.
Copper cable scrap, copper armiture, copper wire bar zinc and tin all spurted by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 490, Rs 472, Rs Rs 518, Rs 177, Rs 1,590 as against Rs 485, Rs 467, Rs 513, Rs 172 and Rs 1,585 previously.
Copper sheet cutting moved up by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 468 from Rs 465, brass sheet cutting edged up by Rs 2 to 353 from Rs 351 and copper scrap heavy inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 482, respectively.
However, Aluminium ingots eased by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 153 from overnight close of Rs 156.
