It was organised by NGO Vanrai Foundation which will plant around 30,000 saplings across the district under the drive.
Bawankule on the occasion lauded the efforts of the NGO and its work done in field of environment conservation.
Ramtek MP Kripal Tumane, Deputy Conservator of Forests (Territory) G Mallikarjun and Deputy Director Social Forestry Kishore Mishrikotkar were present on the occasion.
