The BC sub-plan, for the welfare of backward class communities, will be introduced in the next session of Andhra Pradesh Assembly, state Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishnamurthy said today.
"The BC sub-plan was prepared with Rs 6,600 crores and it was approved by the AP Cabinet. The guidelines and other related process will be completed soon after which the sub-plan will be introduced in the Assembly," Krishnamurthy told mediapersons here.
He also said that at present there is no agreement with Singapore government for the construction of AP's capital Amaravati, but in its first phase (of construction), preference will be given to its agencies.
Notably, the Singapore government agencies have prepared the master plans for the three-layered capital -- seed capital, capital city and capital region.
Krishnamurthy said the second phase of 'Mee Intiki-Mee Bhoomi' (your house-your land) programme would be held from November 1 to 15. It would be more useful for farmers who have approached the officials to resolve disputes concerning their lands, he said.
The government has received lakhs of applications online for verification of farmers' agricultural lands and other lands, he said.
Slamming the Congress and YSRCP for the "strategy" adopted by them during the time of bifurcation of the state, the Deputy CM said both the parties have no moral right to criticise the TDP-led government and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given an assurance to extend support to develop the state as well as to implement all provisions made in the AP Re-organisation Bill.
The minister also said that the state government plans to set up a Machilipatnam Development Authority to prepare a development plan for the district.
