He was reacting to the Bar Council of India's statement warning Bar association leaders in the state that they would be suspended if they created any disturbance protesting the amendments to Advocates Act despite the offer by the High Court to keep the changes in abeyance pending a discussion.
He demanded that the recent amended rules be withdrawn and requested the court to frame new rules with the consultation of all bar associations which will submit their objections, if any, for the proposed new rules.
