The couple have four children - Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 10, and four-year-old Harper - and have ground rules for all of them though they do not always share the same stance on certain issues, reported Female First.
"They're both strict, but about different things. Mum is constantly telling us not to play football in the house," he said.
However, one thing the pair is not too strict about is curfews as Brooklyn says his parents are "really cool" when he goes out at weekends.
David previously said he chaperone's Brooklyn's dates, and his son admitted the comments were not a joke, but the soccer star does not do that anymore.
