"We are telling from the beginning that these chitfunds had come up in the state during the erstwhile CPI(M) rule and the present ruling Trinamool Congress had encouraged them", the state BJP chief Rahul Sinha said here.
"The letter of Sudipta Sen to CBI had spoken of alleged blackmail by two Trinamool Congress MPs. This is greatest political scam. And the truth would not come out through an inquiry instituted by the state government. Therefore, an immediate CBI probe is needed to unearth the truth", Sinha said.
Sinha said "all interrogation should be video recorded and the state government should make public the letter written to it by CBI".
