"We have got a big area in Sunderban and want to start a new tourism project in Jharkhali area. It will be done on a PPP model. It will be a kind of resort or cottages that will be made as we can't create any concrete structure there," state Tourism Minister Krishnendu Narayan Choudhury said.
Choudhury said a Tiger project will also come up in the nearby area so that tourits who go there can also see world famous Royal Bengal Tigers.
Choudhury said "we already have spoken to some of the private parties for the model. We are looking for partners," he said.
Choudhury also said the government is also planning to set up archives revolving round the legends of Bengal and many historical facts about the state.
"We are also planning to come up with an archive in order to inform the tourists about the legendary personalities of Bengal", he said.
