The Destiny's Child star has praised her former bandmate for her politically-charged performance at last month's Superbowl, celebrating her friend's ability to promote these issues to a wider audience, reported New York Daily News.
"I just knew she was working on it and she was so excited. She was giving me tidbits. She had an amazing performance. What is so great about Beyonce is here she is a voice for women and she still carries that torch and we do it with great pride," she said.
"It is possible to get information about our rights and stand up for ourselves and we can't wait for someone to do that for us."
