Bharat Forge Q1 net grows 34.7% to Rs 195.3 crore

Auto component maker Bharat Forge today reported a 34.73% in standalone net profit at Rs 195.32 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2015.

The company's net profit stood at Rs 144.97 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.

Its total net sales in the quarter under review stood at Rs 1,103.58 crore, up 14.44%, compared with Rs 964.33 crore a year ago, Bharat Forge said in a filing to BSE.

During the quarter, overall expenses stood at Rs 846.72 crore, up 9.88%, as against Rs 770.58 crore in the year-ago period.

The stock was trading at Rs 1171.95, up 2.27%, on BSE.
