Bhartiya Group appoints G Raghavan as Bhartiya Urban CEO

Diversified conglomerate Bhartiya Group today said it has appointed G Raghavan as the new chief executive officer of Bhartiya Urban, its real estate and infrastructure business vertical.
Raghavan will be responsible for all the operations and strategic matters of Bhartiya Urban, including the current upcoming Bhartiya City in Bengaluru, a company statement said.
"Raghavan will partner with Arjun Aggarwal, CEO of Bhartiya City and the Director of Bhartiya Group, in the growth and expansion envisioned for Bhartiya Urban," it said.
"Raghavan's 30 years of leadership as well as functional experience in sales, marketing, product design and development across a multitude of industries, combined with the strength of the current leadership of Bhartiya Urban will craft a future that we will all be proud of and a future we will all share," Bhartiya Group Founder and Chairman Snehdeep Aggarwal said.
Prior to joining Bhartiya Group Raghavan was with NIIT where he served for nearly 9 years and his last role was that of Chief Executive for the firm's Career Building Solutions at a global level.
Before joining NIIT, he was the Managing Director of Ingram Micro and prior to that was the President and Executive Director of Carrier, where he served for 17 years.
