ETV Kannada has bagged the format rights from Endemol India to produce the reality show. It will see the local newsmakers and celebrities from all walks of life entering the 'Bigg Boss' house. The show will be aired from March.
"Bigg Boss is all about human emotions and it isn't particularly a formatted show. It is a reality show in the true sense and is both quick and spontaneous. I am very happy to be associated with the biggest television show of Karnataka market," Sudeep, who was last seen in S S Rajamouli's realistic animation 'Makkhi', said.
"Bigg Boss Kannada is bound to create entertaining content driven by the reality of what each contestant will experience in the Bigg Boss house... Real emotions, real drama and real tension," said Deepak Dhar, CEO, Endemol India.
