Jehanabad witnessed the maximum voting at 56.58 per cent followed by Patliputra with 56.34 per cent. Buxar saw 54.46 per cent polling, Munger 53.32, Arrah 48.66 and Nalanda 47.5, official sources said here today.
Patna Sahib, which encompasses the state capital area, had the least votes polled at 45.37 per cent.
Meanwhile, P K Das, Director General (Election Expenditure) of EC is arriving in Patna tomorrow to take stock of the situation in 27 parliamentary constituencies going to poll from the third to sixth phase in the state.
The election officials said 76 per cent voter slips have been distributed till now in the seven constituencies - Purnia, Araria, Kishanganj, Katihar, Supaul, Bhagalpur and Banka. These are going to polls on April 24.
