The name of the restaurant is 21 Greenpoint bar.
It was originally planned to be an invite-only affair but since news broke out that the "Saturday Night Live" alum would be tending the bar, fans are lining up to get into the soiree to meet the 65-year-old star and sample his drink recipes, reported Aceshowbiz.
People don't need to be on any special list to attend the opening. "We want people to come and have fun," Murray's son Homer said. "People can walk in; just be nice." He added, "What my dad lacks in experience, he makes up for in tequila.
