BILT Q2 net up 35 pc at Rs 21 cr

Paper major Ballarpur Industries today posted 35.06 per cent increase in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 20.8 crore for the second quarter ended December 31, 2013.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 15.4 crore during the same period of previous year.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 1,321.33 crore for the second quarter, as compared to Rs 1,186.83 crore during the same period of previous year, Ballarpur Industries Ltd (BILT) said in a filing to the BSE.
BILT follows a July 1 - June 30 fiscal year.
BILT shares today closed at Rs 11.86 apiece on the BSE, up 0.08 per cent from the previous close.
