The deceased has been identified as Madho Singh (48), a resident of Gudhal. His body was found in an isolated area in Salumbar, about 30 kms away from his village, Salumbar Guman Singh, Station House Officer said.
A team of Forensic Science Laboratory has been called at the spot for evidence collection, he added.
Singh was a local leader of the BJP.
