BJP central election committee has picked up Sisodiya to fight the by-polls, MP BJP chief Nandkumar Singh Chouhan told reporters.
Sisodiya, an RSS ideologue and an OBC, is Mandsaur district BJP vice president and Garoth Janpad president.
The Garoth by-elections have been necessitated following death of BJP MLA Rajesh Yadav.
Yadav had defeated Congress candidate Subhash Sojatiya in 2013.
However, Congress has reposed faith in Sojatiya and re-nominated him to take on BJP.
With this, the by-polls are set to witness a fight between BJP candidate Sisodiya, a first timer and experienced Sojatiya, who had won this seat in 1985, 1993, 1998 and 2008.
