Flush with the electoral success in neighbouring Jharkhand, the BJP today asserted it will wrest Bihar from JD(U) in next year's Assembly poll.
"We are ready to take on the collective might of Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad during next year's Assembly polls and wrest Bihar with the blessings of the people," former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi told reporters.
Mocking the former chief minister Nitish Kumar and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad for claiming that the two parties under a grand alliance or merger will stop BJP's juggernaut in Bihar, Sushil Kumar Modi said that the two adversaries should not forget that they have been comprehensively defeated in Jharkhand where the JD(U) and RJD were "bowled out for zero."
The senior BJP leader, at the same time, wished sound health to the RJD supremo who had been operated for heart problems at a premier hospital in Mumbai and recuperating since then.
"Prasad should give priority to his health" before jumping into political bandwagon again, he quipped.
