BJP demands white paper on DJB water supply in Delhi

BJP today asked Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to provide information to the public on water supply in the city by Delhi Jal Board and the steps taken to curb tanker mafia.
Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Harsh Vardhan asked Kejriwal to come out with a white paper to provide details like how many private water tankers and government tankers supply water in which areas of the city and where does the water come from.
"Tanker mafia are not worried about Government's action. They provoke tanker drivers to go on strike so that government doesn't impose any kind of restrictions on them. There is a need to initiate action against the water mafia at the earliest," he said.
