Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said the BJP did not support forced conversions in Agra and whosoever was behind it should be sent to jail.
"What happened in Agra, whosoever did it should be sent to jail," Naqvi told reporters here.
The Minister said forced conversions were not acceptable in any way and there should be a law banning any such activity.
"There should be a discussion on the issue in the Parliament. We want that a bill be brought in the Parliament against forced conversions," he said.
Naqvi was in the Valley to campaign for the party candidates in the fray for the fourth phase of assembly elections.
