BJP functionary's bike torched in Pollachi
Miscreants torched the motorcycle of a BJP functionary in nearby Pollachi early Monday, sparking off tension, police said.
The BJP area secretary Shivakumar had parked the two-wheeler in front of his house late Sunday night after campaigning for the April 18 Lok Sabha election, the police said.
He has lodged a complaint with the police who are on the lookout for the miscreants.
