"After the scams relating to the Commonwealth Games, 2G spectrum allocation and Coalgate, the one concerning the son-in-law will also be brought out", party leader Ananth Kumar said in the Lok Sabha today.
Kumar made the remark while initiating a discussion on the supplementary demands for grants (general).
Vadra is the son-in-law of Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Last month, BJP had sought to corner the government over alleged irregularities in land deals in Haryana involving Vadra, disrupting Parliament and demanding a probe by a Special Investigative Team.
Talking to reporters outside Parliament House, BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu said though state-related issues were not discussed in parliament, his party was willing to discuss the issue of Gujarat police officer D G Vanzara if the charges levelled by Haryana IAS officer Ashok Khemka about Vadra's land dealings are also taken up.
Naidu said the ruling party had "become silent" on discussing charges levelled by Vanzara because they felt a discussion of Khemka would be "embarassing" for them, a charge which denied by Congress.
"That's why we have taken this stand, if you want to discuss IPS, then discuss IAS also - Khemka of Haryana and then move forward. For that, immediately, the other side became silent because they know if the debate goes on....It'll become embarassing for the ruling party," Naidu said.
