Ghosh said that a leader like Kanhaiya Kumar has been made into a national level figure by the directionless Left.
"A novice like Kanhaiya Kumar has become your national level leader to review your (Left) sagging political prospects despite the presence of many elderly leftists," he said at the 'Janaraksha March' countrywide programme here.
Ghosh also took a dig at some of the Left intellectuals for returning awards, citing intolerance.
"Rather than making declaration to return the award, you return the cash given to you along with the citation. Please return the cash given to you say 25 years back," he said.
Ghosh also said many BJP supporters had been killed in Kerala during the CPI(M) rule and said this cannot intimidate the saffron brigade.
