In the city to devise a strategy for "Mission 2017" to wrest power in Uttar Pradesh, several BJP leaders have taken the opportunity to take a holy dip at 'Sangam'- the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati.
Union Law Minister Sadananda Gowda, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and party spokesman Sambit Patra were seen taking the dip today while Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Ben Patel took it yesterday.
However, former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda and former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi were caught in a piquant situation when they went to see the historic Anand Bhavan yesterday, ancestral house of the Nehru-Gandhi family, as Congress workers present there held a vociferous protest.
