BJP MLA's relative booked for grabbing land

A relative of a local BJP MLA was today booked for allegedly grabbing land, police said.
Deepak Misal, brother-in-law of Madhuri Misal who represents Parvati Assembly constituency in the city, has been booked under sections of 447 (punishment for criminal trespass) and 427 (mischief causing damage) of the IPC on a complaint lodged by Amjad Badgujar, they said.
According to police, Deepak owns land which is located adjacent to the land of the complainant in Kondhwa area of the city.
"On April 18, he (Deepak) allegedly broke the wall compound and security cabin erected by the complainant and grabbed his land. After the complainant approached the police, a case was registered against Deepak Misal," Kondhwa Police Station Inspector Rajendra Mokashi said.
