Three BJP MLAs today walked out of the Delhi Assembly protesting the tabling of the 'report card' on the L-G office by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, even as Speaker Ram Niwas Goel said the opposition members are "politicising" the issue.

In his ruling, Goel said that Rule 293 states that no decision of the speaker in respect of allowing or disallowing of any resolution or question can be questioned.

Before walking out of the House, Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta claimed that the government cannot table the outcome report without presenting a copy to the L-G office.

Later, the BJP MLAs -- Gupta, O P Sharma and Jagdish Pradhan -- met Lt Governor Anil Baijal and raised the issue with him and urged him to take stringent action against all concerned.

In a statement, Gupta alleged that the Arvind Kejriwal government has no right to "disrespect" the L-G office and make adverse comments on its working.

The outcome report, presented by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the House earlier this week, details "hurdles and delays" allegedly by the L-G office in executing various government's projects.
