Yesterday, a police team reached Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, along with the woman.
Her father and brother were questioned there about her educational qualification, the people she was in touch with and whether they were aware of this case, police said.
They were also asked whether they were aware of her gang that allegedly honey-trapped influential people and blackmailed them.
It was found during the probe that she had accused a Congress leader of Haryana of rape last year and an MLA from Uttarakhand of molestation in 2014.
K C Patel, the MP from Gujarat's Valsad, had filed a complaint with the police last week, claiming that the woman had drugged him and shot obscene videos.
The woman had also approached a city court, claiming the police did not act on her rape complaint against the lawmaker.
