BJP, TMC supporters clash in Parui

A clash broke out between supporters of BJP and Trinamool Congress (TMC) at a village under restive Parui area of Birbhum district early today, the police said.
A few bombs were hurled during the clash but none was injured, the police said.
The TMC, however, claimed a woman was injured in the clash.
Both the sides lodged FIR in Parui police station. While BJP claimed one of its supporters shop was looted during the clash, TMC alleged the house of one of its supporters was looted.
Two persons were detained and the situation was under control, the police said.
