Ruling Congress and main opposition party AIUDF are leading in three each and an independent in one.
A major loss for Congress has been that of the outgoing Union DONER Minister Paban Singh Ghatowar, five time MP from Dibrugarh constituency, who gas been drubbed by BJP's Rameswar Teli by 1,85,347 votes.
In Tezpur, BJP's Ram Prasad Sarmah defeated Congress MLA Bhupen Borah by 86,006 votes.
BJP is set to win Lakhimpur, Jorhat, Nowgong, Gauhati and Mangaldoi seats.
The highest winning margin in the state was in Kokrajhar(ST) constituency with Independent candidate former ULFA battalion commander Naba (Hira) Sarania leading over former Rajya Sabha MP and Independent U G Brahma by 3,55,779 votes.
As per the trends outgoing Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Ranee Narah was set to lose to BJP state unit President Sarbananda Sonowal who stole the march over her by 3,03,264 votes.
